I began writing while studying at Queen's University, Belfast and enjoyed publishing success with many of my early poems and reviews. I returned to writing and reviewing again after a very long absence and my poetry has been featured in a variety of poetry anthologies including The Poet's Place and Moment (Poetry in Motion - Community Arts Partnership), The Sea (Rebel Poetry, Ireland), all five editions of Washing Women - Irish Women Write Poetry and Her Other Language (Arlen House) and literary journal The Honest Ulsterman. I've been a reader at Poetry NI's Purely Poetry open mics in Belfast.
